Your candidate journey
in PwC

Apply with LinkedIn or CV:

Your journey begins with the application. You can apply with or without creating an account, although we recommend creating one for tracking your application progress.

Prepare for Interview:

This may include steps like an HR screen (potentially via video interview), online assessments (such as Game-based assessment, and other assessments for experienced hires, i.e. SOVA), and a personality questionnaire.

Interview:

We're interested in seeing evidence of your skills, experience, and abilities, as well as your thoughtful consideration of your career choice. You should demonstrate a clear interest in the business world and PwC, showing that you have what it takes to be a PwC professional.
The one-on-one interview, panels or assessment centers provide you with an opportunity to showcase your best qualities.

Receive Offer:

You shouldn't have to wait too long after your final interview for an offer. Receiving your offer letter means you've been officially invited to join the firm.

Begin Onboarding:

Once you receive and accept the offer, our recruiter will contact you to guide you through the next steps. You will also receive an invitation to join our portal, called 'Look Inside', where you can connect with other new joiners and explore our firm's culture further.

Online assessments: what to expect

At PwC, we are committed to finding the best talent to join our team. As part of our recruitment process, we use online assessments to help us understand your skills, capabilities, and potential fit within our firm. We use industry-leading platforms such as HireVue and Sova to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our candidates.
HireVue
This platform allows you to complete video interviews at your convenience. You'll be asked a series of questions designed to assess your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and overall fit with PwC.
Sova
Through Sova, you'll encounter a variety of assessments that may include personality questionnaires and situational judgment tests. These are aimed at evaluating your strengths and how you approach different scenarios.

Dos for your interview preparation

Do your research
Familiarize yourself with PwC’s values, services, and recent projects. Understanding the company’s background will help you tailor your answers and demonstrate your genuine interest.
Do practice common interview questions
Prepare for questions about your strengths, weaknesses, career goals, and why you want to work at PwC. Practicing these will help you respond confidently and clearly.
Do highlight your achievements
Be ready to discuss specific accomplishments. Providing concrete examples will make your experience more compelling.
Do prepare
questions
Have a few thoughtful questions ready for your interviewer about the role, team, or company culture. This shows your interest and engagement.

Don'ts for your interview preparation

Don’t be unprepared
Avoid going into the interview without understanding PwC or the role. Lack of preparation can leave a negative impression and suggest disinterest.
Don’t speak negatively
Refrain from criticizing previous employers or colleagues. Focus on positive experiences and lessons learned to maintain a professional demeanor.
Don’t lie or exaggerate
Be honest about your experience and skills. PwC values integrity, and dishonesty can damage your credibility and chances of being hired.
Don’t interrupt
Listen carefully and let the interviewer finish speaking before you respond. Interrupting can come off as disrespectful and inattentive.
