Meet Viktorija!

Viktorija joined #TeamPwC more than 7 years ago. During this time she has become an integral part of the audit team and has worked her way up the career ladder from assistant to project manager!

Viktorija, who has been taking firm steps on the path of her professional life, says that she did not have a good understanding of what audit was immediately after her studies, as it was not part of her study programme. She says that after graduating in economics, she joined PwC because she was interested in trying her hand in the field and having the opportunity to develop in an international environment.

According to Viktorija, the advantages of working at PwC include a clear career plan and responsibilities that change with each step in her career, which keeps the work dynamic. For example, in her role as an audit assistant, Vikroeija performed a lot of technical tasks, while working as a senior assistant has given her more coordination and client meetings, and in her role as a project manager, Viktorija enjoys overseeing the progress of projects, assisting younger team members, and conducting in-house training. Viktorija says that the changing responsibility list is her favourite part of the job - she enjoys not only the continuous development of technical knowledge but also soft skills.

When asked why she stays in PwC, Viktorija also highlights the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest technologies, to be at the forefront of innovation in the audit world, and the flexibility offered by PwC - she has recently returned from a few months' workation in Spain and is looking forward to the next opportunity to travel.

After discovering the joy of hiking during her quarantine period, she is now a regular prize winner in PwC's walking challenges, and in addition to walking and travelling, she is diligently studying Spanish in her free time.
