My name is Eluvina Munoz, and I am a Team Leader at PwC. I have been with the firm for two and a half years, and one learning moment that truly stood out from my recent coaching training was discovering the Blanchard stages of employee development.
What I did not expect was how impactful this framework would be in day-to-day leadership. It reinforced that effective leadership is not about applying one approach to everyone, but about recognising where each individual is in their development journey and responding accordingly.
Applying this approach has shaped how I lead. It has helped me understand when to provide clear direction, when to coach, and when to step back and empower. As a result, it has strengthened engagement, accountability, and confidence within my team.
At PwC, learning is not separate from the role or the level you are at. It is embedded in how we lead, how we support others, and how we continue to grow as professionals. That ongoing development enables us to deliver consistently for our people and our clients.
