He first came to Lithuania as an Erasmus student in 2019 for 5 months. After this short visit, he went to finish his studies and started working at PwC Turkey.
After 3 years of working at PwC audit department, he decided to move back to Lithuania to live with his Lithuanian girlfriend. He says he loved his job at PwC in Turkey and saw a lot of potential in the Lithuanian market, so he decided to try and get a job with PwC Lithuania. We’re glad he succeeded and we can call Batuhan one of our assurance team members. He said that the transition process was smooth - everyone was really helpful and made him feel right at home.
He already visited loads of Lithuanian cities and found plenty of friends. Batuhan says that although Lithuanians might seem shy and formal at first, they are actually warm and friendly people.
Thinking about the future, Batuhan says he sees himself living in Lithuania and working at PwC for a long time. He enjoys the work-life balance that he has created in his daily routine.
Fun fact about Batuhan - for years he played basketball and even had some experience coaching basketball players. He coached the PwC Turkey team and is excited to join the PwC Lithuania team.
